According to the Internet, this is what Europeans think breakfast in America is like.

The walk out
Just a reminder of the american genicide we all seem to ignore so easily
So you can be proud of being black, hispanic, or asian, but you can’t be proud to be white? Wtf is wrong with society?
white people are behind the worst genocides in history what your sus ass got to be proud of? the invention of graham crackers?
idk pretty sure we invented toilets or something
bitch we invented the soap to clean your filthy asses dont talk shit
Actually, white people invented the following;
Theory of Evolution
First one’s in Space
First one’s on the Moon
The theory of Natural Selection
The Jet Engine
The discovery of DNA
The discovery of the Atom
The discovery of Cells
And yes, a white person did happen to invent the graham cracker.
If you want to cling to every invention that white people are responsible for throughout history as if it’s some sort of accomplishment of your own, then you should also accept responsibility for all the disgusting things that white people have done, correct? You can’t just claim the things that make you look good and disregard the history that makes you look bad. Take it all or leave it all.
Geography- The oldest known world maps date back to Islam in the 9th Century B.C.
Automobile- automobiles were base on chariots created by the Indo-Iranians.
Electricity- Nobody invented electricity, pendejo estupido. Electricity is a natural phenomena.
Computers- Computers were based on the abacus, created by the ancient Sumerians.
The Piano- The piano is based on string instruments created in ancient Mesopotamia.
The Wormhole- Einstein discovered this, and given that Einstein was a dedicate member of the NAACP and called racism America’s “worst disease”, I’m sure that he would not appreciate you using his discoveries to promote white supremacy.
Theatre- The earliest recorded theatrical event dates back to 2000 BCE with the “passion plays” of Ancient Egypt.
The Jet Engine- This is based on rockets invented by the Chinese in the 13th Century
The Discovery of the Atom- Atomism dates back to India during the 6th Century BCE
The Camera- Photographic cameras were a development of the Camera Obscura, a device dating back to the ancient Chinese.
The U.S. Constitution- The earliest known code of law dates back to the ancient Mesopotamians. The American Constitution is based on the Iroquois “Great Code of Peace”. And given that the original U.S. Constitution was used to enslave and murder thousands of people, maybe you shouldn’t be so proud of it.
Democracy- Based on the Sanghas of India during the 6th Century BCE
Republics- See above.
Nice try, white person. Practically everything you guys invented comes from PoC
Have fun with your Graham Crackers tho
All any of us have been responsible for is sitting here bitching on the internet. SO SHUT THE FUCK UP about what your “people did”. We are all fucking humans, we’re all fucked up. And guess what, ALMOST ALL CULTURES HAD A RACIST INSTITUTIONS. I could go on, but I hope you get my fucking point.
Boys hurt too
i am absolutely terrified and horrified by this
This is a stat that many MRAs will use in support of Men’s Rights but I can say with full confidence that the male suicide rates are a product of the patriarchy. Our society portrays emotional weakness and brokenness as a strongly feminine trait, so depressed or suicidal men are far less likely to seek out help for their problems and those that do are less likely to be given the support they need. “Man up” is something I have been told time after time in my times of my own depression and thoughts of suicide, it’s disheartening and there are those who will not get better without support. So these thousands of young boys who will never again walk this earth, taken from their friends and family by their own hands are largely victims of the patriarchy. Fight the patriarchy, for men, women and everyone outside and in between.
It might also help your arguement have any validity if rad-fems didn’t LITERALLY tell men to KILL THEMSELVES if they differ from thier bigoted opinions and then try and blame their hate on an imaginary male-power secret organization that they have no proof exists, except in places with extreme sexism (like some countries in the Middle East). Can we stop shifting victim-hood to suit our desires and instead find the real problems and try to fix them. Fight hate in all forms. There is no excuse for prejudice.
I would also like to say that, a few months ago, I would have totally agreed with that statement, but, after seeing all the hate and bullshit on this site, I find that even movements for freedom equality seem to breed hatred. This place has not made me feel part of anything, but has disconnected me from everthing. Even movements and cultures I once believed I could really feel part of now seem fake and insignificant. This site is poison and we would all be better without it. Instead of trying to base our feelings labels and statistics, we should actually base them on was is right and wrong. No amount of facts and statistics will excuse bigotry.
Diogenes was the shit. He was easily one of the best philosophers ever. He made himself the least wealthy person, hence living in a “Barrel”. He also, upon seeing a child drinking from a river with his hands, smashed his only wooden bowl claiming to be “Bested by a child”. He did public stunts to make a point towards customs and norms including eating in the marketplace in Athens which was generally not acceptable. When Plato described humans as “Featherless Bipeds” he plucked a chicken and brought it to him, saying “here’s your man”. Plato changed that description to “Featherless bipeds with arms”.
And here’s where it gets real.
Diogenes the Cynic became well known all over. In fact, Alexander the great, the one man who could have anyone killed just because, went out of his way to find him. Upon meeting Diogenes, whom was laying on the ground, he said something to the extent of “Ah, the great Diogenes! Is there anything that I, Alexander the Great, can do you?”. Diogenes’ response was a crude “Yes, Get out of my sunlight.”
But, however, Alexander came back another time, to find Diogenes sifting through a pile of bones. Alex inquired “Diogenes, what are you doing sifting through that pile of bones?” Diogenes the Cynic responded “I’m trying to distinguish between the bones of your father, and that of a slave. I cannot tell the difference.” An insult that any man would want the other beheaded for indeed. But no, not Alexander.
Alexander went on to later say that if he were not Alexander the Great, he would wish to be Diogenes.
Dude’s a motherfuckingbadass.
My new fav person. Ever.
being a boy in a dress doesn’t make you gender fluid
its makes you a boy IN A DRESS
Being a transphobic fuck makes you a transphobic fuck.
I don’t think they’re being transphobic, I think they ment that you can wear whatever you want without being generfluid. Like a girl who wears boy clothes, and says she is a girl, means she’s a girl. If a boy wears girl clothes, and says he is a boy, he’s a boy.
you got me thank you
I was mucking around with Audacity, listening to songs in reverse. For the fun of it, I put on everyone’s favorite song, Blurred Lines. And shockingly, I heard something I had never expected to hear. Robin Thicke was fooling us this whole time. He wasn’t trying to be misogynistic, he wanted us to listen closer to the song and understand that he in fact does believe his lady partner needs to be treated with the utmost respect.
You might find it VERY hard to believe, but I implore you to listen very closely (with headphones if you can, because it can be hard to hear). The message I’m talking about comes in around the 30 second mark.
After the 30sec mark I just kind of stared at my wall for the rest of the song trying to accept what I just heard.
im crying, im just..im crying…
